Definition- An adjective is the words that describe nouns and pronouns are called adjective. OR An adjective is a descriptive word for nouns and pronouns.
Ex. Ram is a good boy.
This pen is mine.
some books are on the table.
In these sentences good shows that how is Ram, This shows that whose this watch and some shows that how many books are. These all are adjective.

1. Adjective of Quality- Adjectives that describe quality/Demerits , color and condition of person and thing is called Adjective of Quality.
Ex. The Narmada is a holy river.
She is a good girl.
That was red bike.
2. Adjective of Quantity- Adjective that shows the quantity and volume of thing is called Adjective of Quantity.
Ex. Little knowledge is dangerous thing.
I have lot money.
3. Adjective of number- Adjective that describe the number of person and thing is called adjective of number.
there are two kinds of it-
a). Definite Adjective of number.
b). Indefinite Adjective of Number.
a) Definite Adjective of Number - Adjective that describe the certain no. of quantity is called definite adjective of Number.
Ex. one, two, three...........
first, second, third..........
single, double, triple.........
half, one-third, three-fourth..........
b) Indefinite Adjective of Number- Adjective that describe uncertain no. of quantity is called indefinite adjective of number.
Ex. all, no, several, some, many, any, few.
4. Demonstrative Adjective -An Adjective that refer to a person or thing is called demonstrative Adjective.
Ex. That boy is laborious.
This girl was crying.
5. Distributive Adjective- Adjectives that refer to each are any of certain things of Persons, are called Distributive Adjectives .
Ex. Each man had a flag.
Everybody should obey his teacher.
6. Interrogative Adjective- When WH words are used to ask question, it is called Interrogative adjective.
Ex. - which pen do you like.
whose book is reading.
7. Possessive Adjective- When Noun is used after My, Our, Your, His, Her, Their, or Its, then such type of adjective is called Possessive Adjective.
Ex. That is your book.
This is my Mercedes.
8. Proper Adjective - Adjectives that are formed from the Proper noun is called Proper adjective.
Ex. Indian fruit juice is the best.
