2. COMMON NOUN - The cast of person, place or things of same kinds, is called common noun.
Ex. Person - Boy, man, women, girl.
Fruits - apple, Mango, Banana, papaya
Relations- Father, mother, brother, sister.
Place - school, college, village, hill.
Utensils - Plate, bowl, spoon, bucket.
3. COLLECTIVE NOUN - The name of group of person or things is called collective noun.
Ex. Class, Team, family, Hine, Army, flock of sheep.
4. MATERIAL NOUN - The name of any material is called material noun.
Ex. All elements (118) - H, He, Li, Be, B, C, N , O.
House material - Iron, Stone, Sand, Bricks.
Eatables - Butter.
Corn - pulse, gram, wheat.
5. ABSTRACT NOUN - The word which shows some expression is called abstract noun.
Ex. Love, smile, sorrow, anger, poverty, bravery ,hate, hunger, cruelty.

1. Countable Noun- A noun that can be counted is called countable noun. Almost all common noun are countable. Countable nouns have plural.
Ex. Fruit - Fruits
Book - Books
Basket - Baskets
2. Uncountable Noun - A noun that can not be counted is called uncountable noun. uncountable nouns do not have plural. almost all material and abstract noun are uncountable.
Ex. wheat, pulse, smile, sorrow.
